Services for the homeless

This came recently concerning services available to the homeless, concerning a card available to give homeless information about what is available:

The card is most useful for libraries in the center of Houston as it lists agencies close to downtown. The card is available online:

The coalition will provide some printed copies for free, but I recommend providing librarians with a link to the pdf on a blog or some other communication tool as the help card is updated regularly and printing it when needed assures the latest version is distributed.

In addition each branch should have received a printed Resource Directory from the Coalition in 2007. Resources near libraries in the South West district will be in this directory. This directory is also searchable online:
